- Santa Lucia Ceramics features stylish, functional pottery designed by me, handcrafted on the potter's wheel or slab built, hand glazed and fired in my studio. My collection of ceramic work is ever growing and I will be adding new pieces weekly.
Among the many art forms with which I am enamored, I do love the art of entertaining and I try to incorporate pieces in my line that act as functional centerpieces. I try to design with the host or hostess in mind by adding wide handles for easy maneuvering in and out of the oven, colors that befit any table setting and a unique style that complements any recipe.I am an artist currently working out of my home studio in Saint Louis. I was a tattoo artist for many years and took a hiatus recently to focus on sculpture. I have a love and passion for sculpture and work in several mediums to convey my ideas.. beeswax, porcelain, rock.. But a good part of my passion for sculpture includes an unabashed adoration and appreciation for functional, everyday pottery with beautiful form. And so I started this little company as a means to support my family and my other artistic endeavors. In the hope that through patrons who believe in buying directly from independent artists, the title 'working artist' will not be lost in a culture of big business.

Whether it be a piece you have found on my sold page that you would like recreated, a piece you would like in another color, something special for your wedding or shower, or an idea in your head, please contact me directly to inquire.I do not consign at this time but will be more than happy to consider wholesale orders.
